There are many milestones to celebrate during the month of May for creative agency SoulProviders Collective (SPC). The agency celebrates 11 years of existence; 10 (ten) years with one of their longest-standing clients, AMKA, one year anniversary of their acquisition by the Matrix Communications Group; and their MD, Nosipho Ginindza, who recently turned 40 and joined the Bookmark awards judging panel, celebrates 10 years with the agency as the longest-serving employee at SPC.
Ginindza joined SPC in 2011 as an account manager working on digital campaigns for brands like Grolsch and 46664. In the same year, the agency won local FMCG giant AMKA as a client and has worked on their various brands over the years, managing their social media activity. Some household brands include Clere Africa, Clere For Men, Satiskin, Planet of Attraction, Shower to Shower, Chemico, Personal Touch, Cuticura to name a few.
Said Ginindza: “May is a special month at SPC. We celebrate Africa Day, the company’s birthday and mine. This year also marks our first anniversary with our new partners and owners, Matrix Group, who have contributed immensely to our great performance in the last year. We’ve had the opportunity to reflect on our journey, our people, and the work we do and have won some great new business in the last year which bodes well for our growth. Some of our new business includes Election Media Literacy campaign for Africa Check, MSI Reproductive Choices, Karvol, and Milton, and executing the creative for PPC’s 130 years campaign.
“We’ve been able to bring in new and experienced talent to the agency and are proud to be a diverse, inclusive and female-led agency. The highlight for us this year definitely has to be our 10-year business relationship with AMKA. This relationship has given us the opportunity to contribute in building some of their household and heritage brands within South Africa and in turn has contributed to our business growth over the years. We are proud to be celebrating this milestone with a successful South African business and want our partnership to continue to grow from strength to strength,” said Ginindza.
“The last 10 years with SPC as our social media partner have been extremely good for our products on a business and personal front. We’ve seen the evolution of our brands and growth since we started with SJ Boden, former founder of SPC back in 2012, and now with Nosipho as MD. We look forward to creating more magic with the team as the marketing landscape broadens and entrenches our brands with everyone who uses them,” said Karen Kruger, General Manager at AMKA.
In the immediate term, the agency plans to evolve from being just a digital creative agency into a through-the-line agency offering clients more content and insight-led solutions.
