What We Do
Xtraordinary Women was founded in 2007 and is a platform that Leads, Inspires, Supports and Recognizes Women Entrepreneurs of South Africa. It takes a community to build a business, and Xtraordinary Women is that community. We are passionate about helping women entrepreneurs and encouraging them to DREAM BIG and to live their life with purpose!
In January 2020 we took the decision to host our events online in order to bring our Xtraordinary Women Community access to Global Speakers and networking opportunities.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the business environment changed dramatically and almost all companies were forced to host events, meetings etc. online.
At the end of 2020 we found that our Xtraordinary Women Community was suffering from the struggles of having to take their businesses online, keeping up with technology, trying to keep their doors open and Zoom fatigue.
We had to pivot our business model to ensure that we stay true to our philosophy, "At Xtraordinary Women, we support the South African economy by building a community of confident and successful women in business who actively engage and contribute to their community’s growth and development". We are continuing to do this through providing our Xtraordinary Women Community with a platform to showcase their expertise, businesses and success stories through our blog.
